Laura transforms the nature seen from above by her inquisitive drone into images to be deciphered and interpreted by the observer. The dream of flying that becomes an image: land, forest, meadow, trees, water, snow, life. Fragments of reality captured by the drone, enigmatic shots where shadows and boundaries melt and multiply, leaving the viewer with the charm and mystery of the experience.
The images are printed on Hahnemühle William Turner fine art paper, which, with its rough opaque watercolour texture, gives extraordinarily expressive reproductions. This use of acid-free paper and total absence of optical brighteners produces a uniquely material image.
